Jacob, the charmer...

JT is 6 months...

Jacob is just getting bigger and bigger every day. He had his 6 month appointment the other day, while Zac had his 2 year old visit. Zac is still in the 25th percentile for height/weight, But Jacob is in the 95th percentile for height, 60th for weight. He is soooo long and slim. Looks like he will be the tallest of our crew. I had a deja vous episode yesterday, when i realized the christmas shirt i was putting on jt, was the exact same shirt zac wore last year, at 1 year of age.

Mom can't keep up alone with his nutritional needs anymore... so our big boy has moved on to solids and some formula. He has had most vegetables and fruits and absolutely loves his pears, bananas, squash and sweet potatoes.

JT's favorite thing though, is spending time with his brother. Brotherly love... let's hope it lasts forever!

Zac's 2nd Birthday Extravaganza!

Prince Zachary....

What a party Zac, "the birthday prince", had this year. We had a Cars theme and invited alot of Zac's friends. And goodness... there were kids galore! From ages of 1 week(sierra), all the way thru to 5 years (zoe)!

It was a reasonably nice day, so all the kids could have fun outside. They "painted with water" on the driveway, played with bikes/toys, went after the pinata, danced, and finally settled in for some yummy cupcakes!

It was so nice to see everyone and enjoy all the children running around! By the end of the party, Zac and the rest of the crew were ready to crash. After a big hug & kiss from his cousin emily, it was time for bed. He went to sleep, holding his "95" Cars blanket with great big smile!

Brothers....

Zac and JT have started to bond as brothers. At first, when Jacob was born, Zac would look at him, put a blanket on his head and say "Bye-Bye". Now he is grabbing JT's hand to go to the swings, and yelling his name to sit with him in the stoller. JT just stares at Zac and smiles. He watching him like no tomorrow. They are starting to act like brothers... without the fighting :)

Jacob's a BIG boy

JT goes to the doctor

Jacob went for his 4 month check-up this week. He was 26.5 inches in length, 15 lbs 2 oz for weight, and 16.5 for head circumference. He is the 60th percentile for weight and head circumference, but 90th for height. Yeah!!

He is only 5 inches shorter than Zac. Guess he is going to be the BIG little brother :)

A Whirlwind weekend!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Zachary on Halloween morning at his Daycare

What a weekend! I am not sure we can top this one. Halloween was alot of fun! We went to Mike's work with the boys all dressed up for his work's halloween party. Zac attack was a shark, and JT was a cuddly polar bear. Gramma & Grampa W came and enjoyed the festivities!

Then came a night that zachary in particular, will never forget. At first, our little shark was shy. And then he realized, if he knocks on the door, says "treat" and gives a great big smile... waalaa.... candy!!!. We thought he would want to go to 3 or 4 houses in our neighboorhood, but he keep saying more and more and more- too much!!

Then, to top it off, we went to the bike store with the boys. Zac LOVED the bikes and could not get enough. Giggling and screaming his A..B..C's the whole time!!! JT was just content hanging out with mom.

Too much fun!!

Getting Started with A..B...C's

Welcome to the Janczyk family site!

Here is a little blog to keep everyone updated on our boys!

ZACHARY

Zac attack is now 22 months is full of sooo much energy. And 99% of it is centered on, yes, you guessed it ABC's. We hear him in his crib when he wakes up.... ABC... U... H my H. So funny. Then he needs his ABC foam letters for the shower/tub and then his ABC blocks to play afterwards, then his ABC pancakes. OHHH geeesh! His biggest accomplishment has been W. He used to call it "doh", but finally got it right this weekend. The other 1% of his day is for playdoh, coloring, and painting.

JACOB

JT as we call him, is getting bigger and more alert each day. He is now 4 months old, and is trying to sit up, stand, and say words like his big brother. He sleeps fairly good, but even better if he is with mom (momma's boy for sure!) He is alot bigger in height and weight than zachary was at the same age. Our pediatrician says that JT will probably outgrow Zac in the next few years.
